and being one's own person is its ultimate reward.
Ask yourself this: What does it mean to be middle class in America?
It’s quite the existential question gnawing at our country’s collective soul today. The middle class, once the epitome of American life, the dream to which the rest of the world once aspired, is such an increasingly rare species in modern America that President Obama is now running around telling the nation that he will dedicate the rest of his term to revitalizing it. (Never mind that the pro-union, regulatory-heavy and wealth-redistributive policies he supports are precisely the wrong prescription.)
Have you digested the "wonderful" jobs numbers reported from Washington this month?
Well, don't get too excited about the economy. We've been conned again.
First off, 59% of all jobs created this year are in 3 sectors: Leisure/Hospitality, Retail Trade and Administrative/Waste Services. Wages in those sectors have fallen by 0.7%. These jobs pay an average of $15.80 per hour versus the $23.98 average hourly wage. Which means "jobs creation" just equals cheaper labor.
The American jobs participation rate is at 34-year lows and falling, as people give up and leave the workforce.
Underemployment is between 14% and 15% and rising.
America still suffers from 2 million fewer jobs today than it did when the financial crisis started.
But perhaps worst of all is what I call the "part time-ification of America.”
Thanks to years of punitive hiring regulations, taxes and Obamacare, American companies are going "part time." Meaning, Americans themselves are living on less and less.
USA Today, for instance, reports that the "ranks of part-timers have swelled to 791,000 people versus 187,000" since March. In other words, for every full-time job created over the past 6 months, there have been 4.22 part time jobs created.
Since the beginning of the year the data is even more graphic. According to Keith Hall of George Mason University's Mercatus Center, 97% of the net job creation has been part-time employment.
Expatriate or Revolution?
There is one undeniable fact that is emerging from the world of international finance, if you want to retain the money that you have earned, you are going to have to leave the country or you are going to have to overthrow the bankers that have hijacked your government.
The time to take your money out of the bank was yesterday. There is very little time before the IMF’s plan to steal 10%, for starters, of all bank accounts in Europe.JP Morgan Chase is banning wire transfers from their bank to foreign banks to prevent American capital flight which will surely happen as America wakes up to the desperate situation that the banks are in. The bank is also prohibiting any cash withdrawals of $50,000 or more. This past Friday, HSBC (America) followed suit. It is highly likely that all 5 megabanks will enact the same policies in the near future.
Although, most Americans are free to leave the country, it is becoming exceedingly difficult for Americans to take their money with them. Preparing for expatriation is a daunting task and I do not believe that most of us have the time or the ability to get our assets out of the country as well as make detailed plans and implement those plans in advance of the coming crash as we attempt to leave the country. Therefore, most of us are going to be forced to adopt an adaptation strategy.

“Mind-Blowing” U.S. Wealth Inequality
Statistics about how much wealth is possessed by different groups of people can be hard to wrap your mind around. This video visualizes the figured in a few different ways—and the picture isn’t pretty.
The six-minute "Wealth Inequality in America," released last Friday, presents the shocking, true size of the wealth gap in the country. The Middle Class is barely better off than the poorest in the United States.
In a series of animated infographics, the video lends a visual punch to numbers that are hard to wrap one’s head around. The top 1 percent of Americans hold 50 percent of all investments in stocks and bonds, for example—while 80 percent of Americans share a paltry 7 percent of the nation’s wealth.
But most interesting are the gaps between where Americans think we are and where we really we are when it comes to wealth. A full 92 percent of Americans agree on what a healthy, ideal wealth distribution curve would look like—one that is far more equitable than what we think is the case. (“That is telling, admittedly,” says the narrator. “The fact that most Americans know that the system is already skewed unfairly.")
But this perceived gap between ideal and reality is pocket change compared with the true state of inequality—an ugly curve in which the poorest and middle class are a barely indistinguishable line, while the top 1 percent is, quite literally, off the charts.
What's encouraging is how united Americans are on how wealth should look in our country. But this video is proving to be a real wake-up call to how far we are from that goal. Take a few moments to watch the sobering video below.
Income continues to slide in America...in real dollars, few have had a raise since the 1980s
Stopping vehicle in their tracks -- remotely
The need to stop vehicles remotely was identified by the law enforcement community. In 2010, the characteristics of a squid’s sticky tendrils were combined with the concept of Spiderman’s super-strong webbing to create a prototype of the first remote device to stop vehicles in their tracks: the Safe, Quick, Undercarriage Immobilization Device (SQUID).

Who Needs Terrorists?
Bureaucrats are a doing a fine job of underming our economy!
Over regulation is what’s killing our country. Next time a politician tells you he has come up with a great new plan to create jobs, and his plan does not include firing himself, disregard him. Maybe if we all did they would just go away.
The Government vs. YOU
Every day, more Americans get trapped by big government. In addition to groups targeted by the IRS, upstanding citizens going about their normal lives are suddenly targeted by law enforcement authorities and charged as criminals. Just a few examples:
A young girl was fined $535… for rescuing a wounded woodpecker.
A businessman was jailed for years… for shipping lobsters in plastic bags rather than cardboard boxes.
A Maryland father and building engineer faced a years-long legal ordeal… after being unfairly targeted under the Clean Water Act.
In USA vs. YOU, experience the documented stories of your liberties violated—and learn what you can do to reverse this escalating trend.
A diverse group of public interest groups, from Right on Crime to the ACLU, are united in this effort to restore fairness to America's justice system.
